One distinctive characteristic of the Sensitive Fern is that its fertile fronds, which bear spores, are shorter and more erect than the sterile fronds.

Care Guide:

Lighting: Onoclea sensibilis thrives in partial shade to full shade. It can tolerate some morning sun, but it prefers filtered light or dappled shade. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as it can scorch the fronds.
