Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Sansevieria ‘Gabriella Variegata’ is a rare and elegant cultivar of the snake plant family (Dracaena trifasciata group), celebrated for its compact rosette growth and striking variegation. Like other Sansevierias, it is native to arid regions of Africa and Asia, where it has evolved to withstand drought and poor soils.
This variety forms neat, symmetrical rosettes of broad, slightly curved leaves. The foliage is deep green, marbled with lighter horizontal banding and edged with creamy-white to yellow variegation. Some leaves also display streaks or splashes of pale variegation throughout the blade, giving each rosette a unique appearance.
Unlike tall upright cultivars such as Sansevieria ‘Laurentii’, the ‘Gabriella Variegata’ remains compact, typically growing 20–30 cm tall. Over time, it produces offsets that form dense clusters, creating an attractive, sculptural display suited to smaller spaces, desktops, or windowsills.
Tolerates a wide range of conditions. Thrives in bright, indirect light, which enhances variegation, but also tolerates medium and even low-light environments. Avoid prolonged strong direct sunlight, which can scorch pale edges.
Very drought tolerant. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. In summer, this may mean watering every 2–3 weeks; in winter, monthly or less. Overwatering is the most common cause of issues, leading to root and leaf rot.
Temperature: Prefers 18–28°C. Avoid exposure below 10°C.
Humidity: Thrives in dry air and adapts well to centrally heated homes.
Use a gritty, free-draining cactus or succulent compost. Repot every 2–3 years in spring, dividing offsets to propagate new plants.
Feed monthly during spring and summer with a diluted cactus or succulent fertiliser. Stop feeding in autumn and winter.
Remove old or damaged leaves at the base. Clean foliage occasionally with a damp cloth to highlight the variegation.
A slow grower, reaching 20–30 cm tall. Produces offsets to form attractive clumps. Mature plants may occasionally bloom with fragrant green-white flowers, though flowering is rare indoors.
Yellow/mushy leaves: Caused by overwatering or poor drainage.
Wrinkled foliage: Indicates underwatering – revive with a thorough soak.
Pests: Rare, but may attract mealybugs or spider mites.
Sansevierias are among the most resilient and low-maintenance houseplants available, recommended for both beginners and collectors. NASA studies have also shown their ability to filter indoor air. The ‘Gabriella Variegata’ cultivar combines these benefits with compact beauty and striking variegation, making it an excellent choice for modern interiors.
