Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Sansevieria ‘Swan Dancer’ is a rare and elegant cultivar of the snake plant group (Dracaena), prized for its graceful, arching growth habit and distinctive variegation. Like all Sansevierias, it originates from Africa and Asia, where these hardy succulents are adapted to arid, rocky landscapes.
The ‘Swan Dancer’ variety forms tall, slender leaves that curve and sway in gentle arcs, resembling the movement of a dancer or swan’s neck. The foliage is deep green with irregular lighter striping and occasional creamy variegation, adding both texture and colour. This combination of height, elegance, and movement makes it stand out among more rigid Sansevieria cultivars.
Typically growing 50–80 cm indoors, it forms clumps over time as offsets develop. Its upright but flowing growth habit makes it perfect as a floor plant or as an ornamental accent in modern interiors.
Tolerates a wide range of conditions. Thrives in bright, indirect light but also copes well with medium and low-light situations. Stronger light enhances colour and leaf markings, while very low light slows growth.
Very drought tolerant. Allow soil to dry completely between waterings. In summer, watering every 2–3 weeks is usually sufficient; in winter, reduce to monthly or less. Overwatering is the primary risk.
Temperature: Prefers 18–28°C. Protect from frost and avoid exposure below 10°C.
Humidity: Naturally adapted to dry air; perfect for centrally heated homes.
Plant in a gritty, free-draining cactus or succulent compost. Use a sturdy pot to stabilise its tall, arching foliage. Repot every 2–3 years in spring, dividing offsets to propagate new plants.
Feed monthly during spring and summer with a diluted cactus or succulent fertiliser. No feeding is necessary in autumn or winter.
Requires minimal pruning. Simply remove old or damaged leaves at the base. Wipe leaves with a damp cloth occasionally to enhance their sheen.
A slow to moderate grower, reaching 50–80 cm indoors. Over time, produces offsets that form attractive clumps. Mature plants may occasionally bloom, sending up fragrant green-white flower spikes.
Mushy or yellow leaves: Almost always due to overwatering.
Wrinkled foliage: Underwatering – water thoroughly, then allow to dry again.
Pests: Rare, but may occasionally attract mealybugs or spider mites.
Sansevierias are some of the most resilient houseplants available and are recommended for both beginners and collectors. NASA studies have demonstrated their air-purifying qualities, removing toxins and producing oxygen even at night. ‘Swan Dancer’ combines this toughness with graceful, flowing foliage, making it a collector’s gem and a designer’s favourite.
