Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.

Hoya crassipetiolata ‘Splash’ is a gorgeous, highly sought-after Hoya prized for its bold silver variegation, crisp veining, and vigorous climbing or trailing habit. Native to Southeast Asia and belonging to the Apocynaceae family, this cultivar amplifies the natural beauty of the species with a dramatic splashing of silvery-white speckles across each leaf.
The leaves are medium-sized, oval to slightly elongated, and semi-succulent with a clean, glossy surface. Their base colour is a rich olive-to-mid green, overlaid with dense silver splashes, streaks, and freckled patterns that catch the light beautifully. Subtle dark veining creates additional contrast, giving each leaf a dimensional, textured appearance.
New leaves often emerge lighter and develop stronger splash patterns as they mature. As it grows, Hoya crassipetiolata ‘Splash’ produces long, flexible vines that display the patterned foliage elegantly — perfect for trellises, hoops, and hanging planters.
Under ideal conditions, mature plants produce umbels of star-shaped flowers in soft pastel tones, often pinkish-white with a warm honey fragrance.
A striking, fast-growing, and beautifully speckled Hoya, ‘Splash’ is a must-have for collectors of patterned foliage.
Thrives in bright, indirect light where silver splashing becomes most pronounced. A few hours of gentle morning sun improve colour and encourage flowering. Avoid harsh midday light which may burn the leaf surface.
Allow the top 3–5 cm of soil to dry out between waterings. This semi-succulent species appreciates a wet–dry cycle and is more tolerant of underwatering than overwatering. Reduce watering in cooler months.
Temperature: Ideal range is 18–27 °C. Avoid temperatures below 12–14 °C.
Humidity: Tolerant of average household humidity but grows most vigorously in 50–70%.
Use an airy, fast-draining Hoya mix — orchid bark, perlite, coco coir, and a small amount of compost work well. Hoyas prefer to be slightly root-bound, so repot only every 1–2 years.
Feed every 3–4 weeks during the growing season with a balanced liquid fertiliser. Bloom boosters can be used for mature, light-rich specimens.
Trim lightly to encourage branching and fuller vines. Do not remove flower peduncles — Hoyas rebloom from the same spurs. Remove damaged or yellowing leaves as needed.
A moderate to fast grower that can produce long vines up to 1–2 metres. Splash variegation intensifies in good light. Mature plants may bloom multiple times per season.
Fading splash: Insufficient light.
Yellowing leaves: Overwatering.
Slow growth: Poor light or compacted soil.
Pests: Watch for mealybugs and spider mites on tender new growth.
Hoya crassipetiolata ‘Splash’ has gained popularity among collectors for its dramatic speckling and vigorous growth habit. The combination of glossy green leaves and heavy silver splash makes it visually dynamic and extremely decorative.
Its adaptability, ease of care, and rapid vining make it suitable for beginners and seasoned Hoya enthusiasts alike. Whether trailing, climbing, or displayed as a cascading specimen, this cultivar brings light, movement, and pattern to any plant display.
