Due to the sensitive and breakable nature of our products, it's understandable that damages may occur despite our meticulous packaging methods. If you find that your plant or pot has arrived in a less than satisfactory condition, please reach out to us at hello@plantsforallseasons.co.uk within a month of your delivery date. When contacting us, please provide your order reference, alongside a photo clearly showing the damaged item and its packaging, including the delivery label. We are committed to resolving such issues by offering a refund or a replacement, depending on the availability of the item in question.
We are unable to accept returns that are not related to damage because plants are inherently perishable and delicate. It's also worth noting that the plant you receive may slightly differ from the images displayed on our website. This variation is natural, given that each plant is unique and subject to seasonal growth changes.
At Plants for all Seasons, we recognise the critical role our courier partners play in ensuring the safe and secure delivery of your plants. Sansevieria ‘Tower Blue’ is a striking, upright succulent prized for its tall, architectural growth and cool, blue-toned foliage. A member of the Asparagaceae family and originating from African Sansevieria lineages, this cultivar is loved for its clean, sculptural form and modern colour palette — making it a favourite for contemporary interiors and minimalistic plant styling.
The leaves grow in tight, vertical columns, forming a sleek tower-like structure that gives the plant its name. Each leaf is thick, rigid, and sword-shaped, with a smooth matte surface ranging from powdery blue-grey to slate teal. Fine, darker reticulated patterns or gentle horizontal striping may appear depending on light levels, adding subtle texture without disrupting the plant’s minimalist aesthetic.
Compact yet commanding, Sansevieria ‘Tower Blue’ is a resilient, slow-growing statement plant that brings elegance, height, and clean lines to any room.
Thrives in bright, indirect or filtered light, which enhances its blue-toned colour. Tolerates low to medium light extremely well, though leaves may lean greener in low light. Avoid harsh midday sun, which may cause leaf scorch.
Highly drought-tolerant. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water sparingly, especially in winter — typically every 3–5 weeks depending on conditions. Overwatering is the most common issue and should be avoided at all costs.
Temperature: Prefers 18–30 °C and tolerates heat well. Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 10–12 °C.
Humidity: Performs beautifully in low to average household humidity. No added humidity required.
Use a gritty, fast-draining succulent or cactus mix. A blend of pumice, coarse sand, perlite, and well-draining compost works best. Repot every 2–3 years or when fully root-bound — Sansevierias thrive when snug in their pots.
Feed lightly every 6–8 weeks during spring and summer with a diluted succulent fertiliser. Do not fertilise during winter dormancy.
Minimal care required. Remove old or damaged leaves at the base. Wipe the foliage occasionally with a dry or slightly damp cloth to maintain its blue matte sheen.
A slow grower that typically reaches 30–60 cm in height. Forms tight vertical columns and may produce basal pups over time, creating a multi-tower display.
Soft or yellow leaves: Overwatering.
Colour fading: Insufficient light.
Leaf wrinkling: Underwatering (usually temporary).
Pests: Rare but watch for mealybugs or scale.
Sansevieria ‘Tower Blue’ is adored for its sleek, columnar form and cool-toned foliage — traits that make it perfect for modern homes, minimalist interiors, offices, and stylish plant arrangements.
It combines sculptural beauty with exceptional resilience, tolerating neglect, low humidity, and a wide range of light conditions. Its upright form makes it ideal for small spaces, shelves, bedside tables, or as a clean vertical accent in larger plant displays.
This cultivar’s blue-grey tones also contrast beautifully with warm woods, darker foliage plants, or terracotta surfaces.
