Monarda
Monarda is a genus of flowering plants that belongs to the family Lamiaceae. They are commonly known as "bee balm" or "bergamot" and are prized for their fragrant, colorful flowers and aromatic foliage. Monarda plants are native to North America and are now grown in many other parts of the world as ornamental plants.
Monarda plants have upright stems that can reach up to four feet in height. The flowers are typically pink, red, purple, or white, and are arranged in clusters. The foliage of Monarda plants is often green and can be quite ornamental, with lance-shaped leaves that release a pleasant fragrance when crushed.
