Heliopsis
Heliopsis is a genus of flowering plants that belongs to the family Asteraceae. They are commonly known as "false sunflowers" because of their resemblance to sunflowers. Heliopsis plants are native to North and Central America, and are now grown in many other parts of the world as ornamental plants.
Heliopsis plants have tall, upright stems that can reach up to six feet in height. The flowers are typically yellow, with many small, disk-shaped flowers arranged in a spiral pattern. The foliage of Heliopsis plants is often green and slightly hairy, and can be quite large.
