Anthemis
Anthemis is a genus of herbaceous perennials and annuals that are native to Europe and Asia. They are members of the aster family (Asteraceae) and are commonly grown as ornamental plants for their attractive, daisy-like flowers that bloom in the summer. Anthemis are popular in cottage gardens, herb gardens, and as cut flowers.
Anthemis have a clump-forming growth habit and produce feathery, green leaves that are arranged in an alternate pattern along the stem. The leaves are often finely divided, giving them a lacy appearance. In the summer, Anthemis produce clusters of showy, daisy-like flowers that are held above the foliage on slender stems. The flowers are typically a bright, sunny yellow or white.
