Agastache
Agastache, also known as hyssop or hummingbird mint, is a genus of perennial flowering plants that are native to North America and Asia. They are members of the mint family (Lamiaceae) and are prized for their fragrant foliage and showy, colorful flowers. Agastache plants are commonly grown in gardens and landscapes as ornamental plants, and are known to attract pollinators such as bees and hummingbirds.
Agastache plants have tall, slender stems with fragrant, toothed leaves. They produce spikes of small, tubular flowers in shades of pink, purple, blue, or white from midsummer to early fall. The flowers of Agastache are highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, making them an excellent addition to pollinator-friendly gardens.
Agastache is an easy-to-grow plant that requires minimal care to thrive. It can be grown in garden beds, borders, or containers, and is commonly used as a statement plant or as a colorful element in garden designs.
