Knipofia
Kniphofia is a genus of flowering plants that belongs to the family Asphodelaceae. They are commonly known as "red hot pokers" or "torch lilies" because of the shape and color of their flowers, which resemble a flaming torch. Kniphofia plants are native to Africa and are now grown in many other parts of the world as ornamental plants.
Kniphofia plants have upright stems that can reach up to six feet in height. The flowers are typically orange, red, or yellow, and are arranged in a spike or panicle. The foliage of Kniphofia plants is often green and grass-like, and can be quite long and narrow.
